Give Me Your Hand
This project aims to address challenges faced by individuals with hearing impairment in conversations through a user-friendly interaction design that combines phone actions and in-phone gestures, emphasizing intuitive communication and accessibility.
Project Description:
The project is dedicated to tackling the specific challenges encountered by those with hearing impairment, especially in conversational scenarios. The interaction design is a strategic blend of actions you do over the phone and in-phone. Retaining the intuitive gesture for hearing the conversation partner and recognizing its natural appeal.
The graphical interface terminology focuses solely on elements recognized by the hearing aid and their corresponding volume levels, deliberately avoiding technical jargon to ensure accessibility and user-friendliness. The project’s goal is to empower individuals with hearing impairment to engage effortlessly in conversations and navigate their hearing aid settings with ease, promoting better communication and quality of life.
