FlyCycle
Shachar Geiger, Michal Rinott, Ofir Liberman, Eden Offer
A physical-virtual project that invites participants to fly on bicycle.
The participant is pedaling a real bicycle. When she enters VR, she discovers the bicycle is actually a flying device, operated by pedal rotation. Can we succeed in joining the flock of birds flying ahead of us? And which transformation will the bicycle undergo while flying with them?
The project deals with transitions enabled in virtual reality experiences:
Between senses, between body perception, in spatial experience in between individualism and conformism.
