YogaAnimals – An Interactive Yoga Installation
by Michal Rinott and the Kadar Design and Technology Center, Shenkar
Yoga postures were created thousands of years ago, inspired by the movements and forms of animals and plants — the lotus, the downward-facing dog, the cobra, the tree, the crow, and many others.
In YogaAnimals, an interactive installation developed specifically for the Man and the Living World Museum, visitors enter a magical yoga space where performing a yoga pose brings its animal inspiration to life!
The project was developed at the Kadar Design and Technology Center by an interdisciplinary team including students and graduates, in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Design.
In this short film, we documented the project’s creation process — a great example of the daily synergy between design, engineering, and art at the Kadar Center.
