Shachar is a technologist and interaction designer. He leads all technological aspects in the Kadar Design and Technology center at Shenkar College, which include project support and initiation, student instruction, facilities and equipment management and research support.

He has vast experience in technical development and problem solving both on embedded hardware and on broad software environments. As a graduate of IDF’s Talpiot project, he has scientific background and experience in the development of complicated systems, and specific interest and experience in interaction.

As a freelance consultant, Shachar worked with companies and individuals in implementing prototypes of new technological products and artistic installations.
